The Ü label

The Ü label (mark of conformity) indicates that the product has a general construction approval or a general construction certification. The requirements for proof of product properties are issued by the German Institute for Building Technology (DIBt). DIBt is headquartered in Berlin where it issues European approvals for construction products and building systems.
