Thermoplastics

Thermoplastics are plastics that can easily be shaped at certain temperature ranges (thermo-plastic). The process is reversible, i.e., the cooling and re-heating to the melting point can be repeated indefinitely as long as overheating does not cause the material to thermally disintegrate. Thermoplastics are different from duroplastics and elastomers in this regard.
